Eataly is this food supermarket where you can also sit down and eat and they cater to a wide variety of cuisines – you could go there each day for a whole month and still not be half done. Worth a shot for an experience – food is pricier than the average New York restaurant but not by much. Portion can be quite small too – the menus don’t have photographs of the food so there’s no way to know except to ask the servers. I’m definitely going back again whenever I’m back in New York. We went in, walked around, looked at various menus, decided where we wanted to sit, gave our phone number to the hostess at that particular cuisine’s desk and walked out to check out the park across the street as we waited for the hostess to text us when our table was available. The food we ordered was heavenly – even something as simple as the Olive Oil with the bread was beautiful – beautiful in my mouth.
