By Day 04 in Ranikhet, I had graduated from writing about Ranikhet onto writing about other subjects. I can’t include those pieces with photographs from Ranikhet, so, those will be published separately. ( In fact, one piece has already been published as a three-part series. It’s a piece of fantasy, called, Help From An Army Officer. )
Day Four was one of those days where we got to do things we wanted to, from morning till evening. A round of cards – the folks sat on the wrought iron chairs and I sat inside the “gazebo”. They played cards, I wrote in my moleskine.
A walk on our regular route. Admiring the gnarled old eucalyptus tree. Ivy. Oak. Pine. Deodar. I got some time to sketch. Beautiful blue sky and another lovely sunset. A perfect day. Not much to talk about.
Stories from Ranikhet from our previous visits can be found under the #NAINAxRanikhet tag.
