We had checked out the Golf Course and its availability the day before – on Day Five of this year’s #NAINAxRanikhet Luckily, the weather was still great – hotter and more humid that we would have liked. But, I did not have to play any golf. My agenda was to sit in the grass. Sketch a bit. Write a bit. Maybe nap. Eat and drink and chill. Which is what I did. I also got bitten by something in the grass, which left four super itchy bite marks on my legs and torso. Have healed now that I’m in Gurgaon – but the marks will take a while to disappear from my skin. At least they don’t itch anymore!
After I’d been bitten in Ranikhet, “All bugs must die” was my rallying cry till we left. Before the bites, I had allowed even a quarter-plate-sized spider to wander calmly into the bathroom. It was full-on war after the bites in the grass.
Nice lazy afternoon. Enjoy!
