above : The day started early and on the drive, there was a lot of shadow-light play on the mountainsides and the river and the trees. Again, fabulous colors.

above : Wild antelope on the mountainside foraging for food early in the morning. There is a local name for these but I can no longer recall it.

above : Riverside paradise! The clumps of trees made interesting dots of color throughout the otherwise barren landscape.

above : While crossing the lone village, which had been affected by floods.

above : The various moods of @akanksharedhu We’re obviously still fascinate with river-pebbles!

above : A hot cup of tea was ALWAYS welcome. The sun was fierce only when we were IN the sunlight and only for about an hour or maximum two hours during the peak afternoon.
