You’ve already seen the photographs from the Louis Philippe Golf Cup here. I was in Bangalore for a couple of days in addition and the above is a six-and-a-half minute video diary from the three days I was there. To let your eyes linger on the stills a little longer, they’re added below as well.
I used Uber Bangalore to get around and barring one experience, all others were 5 Star ones. Uber is available very easily and is also much cheaper than what it’s in NCR although that might be because of NCR being much bigger than Bangalore.
Dinner was at Fatty Bao and all of it was fabulous except the desserts. The last one on the right above was the Chiffon Tea cake which was quite lovely but the peanut butter chocolate thing on the right was like eating out of a peanut butter jar directly. The menu had these amazing duck bao’s and very tasty pork belly, which I will order again whenever I visit although I probably won’t order them together because wow heavy!
On day two I checked out the Golf Course to do a short recce to see what the setup was going to be on the next day of the finals, which I would be photographing. After this I went to UB City for photographing a bit of #EyesForStreetStyle. That did not work out so well. I then headed to the World Trade Centre again and got some more street style photos and then did some beer tasting at District 6.
Next day morning started overcast but did a quick about turn to splendid bright sunlight, blue sky and cotton clouds! I had a great time photographing the golf cup final, after which it was time to catch my flight and head back to Delhi. That was a bit of an adventure in itself as my cab was late and I hitched a ride with two gentlemen who were also headed to the airport! Who knows, they also might turn out to be future clients! What fun!
