UPDATE : Christmas Wallpaper for 2008
Christmas Wallpaper for 2009
I did the Diwali wallpaper in 2005 and then followed-up with Diwali wallpapers for 2006.
Update: There’s a Christmas wallpaper for 2007 as well here.
Now it’s the turn of Christmas Wallpapers. I’m starting out with a light, white, snowflake-themed wallpaper. I wanted to keep it clean so that your desktop gives you a feeling of happy/free/cheerful spirit. It also gives you enough white-space to fill up your desktop!
Here are the three download links:
1. 2000 x 1500
2. 1024 x 768
3. 800 x 600
Here is another Christmas wallpaper – more along the lines of what people expect from a Christmas wallpaper 🙂 The Diwali wallpapers got my website more hits from people looking for them because I don’t think there are many Diwali wallpapers out there – Christmas seems to be way more popular on the web!
Here are the three download links:
1. 2000 x 1500
2. 1024 x 768
3. 800 x 600
And another Christmas Wallpaper [ I did this illustration for the 2nd Wacom Holiday season Contest 2006 ] and have re-sized the same for Desktop wallpapers.
Here are the three download links:
1. 2000 x 1500
2. 1024 x 768

I liked the background effects and colors. I didn’t like the fonts and font colors! 🙂
Hey Ramesh – nice to hear from you again!
The font is not a font really, it’s an illustration sketched in Photoshop using my Wacom Intuos tablet and the contrast with the background effects and colors is deliberate. And I appreciate your feedback!
The “font illustration” would qualify well for a “Halloween” wallpaper. >:O) The fonts of “Merry” & “Christmas” look different to me.
I have been following aside blog reqularly. Good going. All the Best.
“Merry” and “Christmas” are indeed different. The font might indeed look familiar in a Halloween wallpaper but it’s a deliberate addition to the Christmas one. I wanted to add some kind of juxtaposition to the Christmas cheer with an alien element. It seems to be working so far 🙂
thank you so much… my screen saver is so pretty!!
