Was only able to make it on the final day of the India Art Fair and then ended up meeting with and talking with a lot of smart people – so, not many photos. The thing that stood out was that even though the final day was on a Monday, NSIC Exhibition Grounds were PACKED! So many people! Very encouraging in terms of generating more interest in Art in India and hopefully more indie artists showing up for actual buyers and galleries. Very few photographers showing though – hopefully that will go up as well – who knows, at some point, maybe I’ll show my work there!
Wear your FitBit / step-counter band or turn on the step counter on your mobile phone if you’re visiting – you’ll rack up the steps and it’ll make you feel even better about visiting the Art Fair.
Great to see that the India Art Fair has FINALLY started their own blog. Never too late to start. They are also on Instagram, which is a great place to keep track of what they’re up to.
