“Fire Print” is closely related to one of the larger 8 inch paintings that I have painted. The fine lines put together with the orange, yellow and red colours conjured fire and possibly the print that fire would leave if it could write in the conventional human sense. Fire’s hand-writing would look like it is printed. Neat. With long lines of burn. It burns chaotic but what it leaves behind is the same, no matter where and no matter what it burns. Power that treats everything the same. An aspect of order, derived from chaos.

The top of the painting is flat.

White edges help separate the painting from the color of your garments. On a white garment, the white edges make it look like there is a subtle glow around the painting. A similar effect is created when the painting is displayed on a white canvas, when you’re not wearing it.
