EyesForAdelaide: The City

What This Is

I want to show you how I see Adelaide.

For two hours, we’ll walk through the city together, looking for photographs in places you might normally walk straight past.

Light. Colour. Architecture. People. Shadows. Reflections. Texture. Movement. Unexpected moments.

I’ll photograph alongside you, share what I’m seeing, give you practical exercises and help you develop your own way of looking.

This isn’t a camera class. You don’t need to know your settings. You don’t need an expensive camera. You can bring your SmartPhone.

The point is to see differently.

How It Works

We meet in Adelaide city centre at 4:30 PM.

We’ll spend two hours, approximately 1.5kms, walking, photographing, experimenting and looking at Adelaide as the light changes.

There will be a total of 6 people, including me.

Bring whatever camera you normally use.

No tripod. No Flash.

Comfortable shoes are a good idea.

Who Is This For

Anyone who wants to make more interesting photographs.

You might be an experienced photographer who wants to look at the city differently.

You might be someone who takes thousands of photographs on your phone but rarely feels you’ve made the photograph.

You might simply be curious.

Everyone is a photographer.

Exact meeting point and instructions will be emailed after booking.

Fine print

Tickets are non-refundable.

The experience will generally proceed in ordinary weather conditions.

If weather conditions are unsafe or would significantly compromise the experience, the walk will be rescheduled.

If the experience is rescheduled, your booking will automatically move to the new date.

About Naina

I’ve been a professional photographer for more than 20 years, photographing people, fashion, food, lifestyle, travel, and everything in between.

I’ve photographed for brands including Adobe, Google, Hermès, St. Regis, Marriott, Pernod Ricard, and many others. My work has appeared in publications including Book covers, Travel & Leisure Magazine, Conde Nast, WWD, Cosmopolitan, Mint Lounge, Hindustan Times, Grazia and Marie Claire.
