ABOUT THE SERIES
“Micro Landscapes of Australia” is an evolving series of unique, handcrafted brooches offering an intimate journey into the abstracted beauty of the Australian continent, viewed at a micro scale.
Each new piece, meticulously created in Adelaide, continues to translate often-overlooked natural details – the ephemeral patterns of a salt lake, the sculptural force of coastal tides, the incandescent glow of desert earth, or the resilient bloom at a habitat’s fringe – into evocative wearable art.
Through sensuous, fabric-like forms and a palette rich with Australian hues, this ongoing collection invites the discerning collector to engage with the profound artistry inherent in the continent’s most intimate natural expressions.
CARE & USE INSTRUCTIONS
Do not keep anything on top of the brooch as it will take on the texture of anything that is pressed onto it.
This is a piece of art jewelry. Just like you wouldn’t sit on a painting, scratch it on purpose or try to bend it, use similar care with this piece.
Ideally, store flat, without anything touching the top.
Do not wrap in plastic. Plastic will stick to varnish / acrylics & leave an impression.
Keep away from solvents like isopropyl alcohol and perfume. If such contact is made by mistake, do not try to wipe it. Leave it alone to dry for a few minutes. The alcohol will evaporate and the varnish will dry on its own.
Excessive heat or cold are best avoided.
If it gets dusty / linty, use a soft dry paint brush or microfiber cloth to wipe the crevices gently.
Press and push the magnet instead of trying to pull it.
