Holo Bae, 2023, 2 Inches, Wearable Art Brooch

“Holo Bae”, is a wearable art brooch from the HOLOGRAM Series. It has a 2 inches in diameter wood base, with a magnet clasp at the back. The brooch is holographic in colour, meaning that depending on how the light hits it, it will shine one of two different colours. The name “Holo Bae” is inspired by my wanting to make wholeness my bae! In your pursuit of moving towards wholeness, may you become your own best friend. These colours also remind me of a Scarab Beetle. I’ve loved those since I was a child. So “bae” from that POV too perhaps?

The HOLOGRAM Series was created as an inspiration from my own personal life where I am striving to accept myself as I am. I am already whole and now I am moving towards accepting my wholeness and it isn’t always clear who I am and it shifts with circumstances and emotions. It is a beautiful, colorful process of working with the self, which made for some delightful color-shifting wearable art brooches.

The wooden base is 2 inches in diameter. The brooches from the HOLOGRAM Series vary in dimensions ranging from 1 inch high to 1.5 inches high and 2.5 inches to 3 inches in length and breadth. The colour of the actual brooch may vary wildly from what is visible on your screen because of the nature of the paint and the lighting and the objects around the brooch that are reflected. Weight : 57 grams.

The piece is signed, dated & named at the back & will be accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity.
