EyesForAdelaide: Fashion Week Street Style Photography Experience, 10th Oct

What This Is

Photograph the people, fashion and energy surrounding Adelaide Fashion Week while learning how to photograph strangers with confidence.

I’ll show you how I approach street style photography in a real-world fashion environment.

We’ll photograph guests arriving for two Adelaide Fashion Week runway shows. I’ll photograph alongside you, demonstrate how I work, give you practical exercises and provide individual guidance throughout the sessions.

The emphasis is not on getting technically perfect photographs. It’s on becoming more confident at seeing an interesting person, making a decision quickly and making the photograph.

Your ticket does not include admission to the runway shows.

How It Works

SESSION 1

9:30 – 11:00 AM

We’ll meet outside the venue for a short briefing and photograph guests arriving for the morning runway show.

I’ll demonstrate how I look for subjects, approach people and work quickly in a busy environment. You’ll have plenty of opportunity to try it yourself, with guidance from me throughout.

BREAK

11:00 AM – 1:15 PM

Take a break, get lunch, review your photographs or do whatever you like. You’re welcome to leave the area and return for the second session.

SESSION 2

1:15 PM – 3:00 PM

We’ll meet again outside the same venue and photograph guests arriving for the afternoon runway show.

The second session gives you another opportunity to practice what you’ve learned and photograph a different group of people, outfits and moments.
