Was driving back home after early dinner and saw a street-kid at one of the traffic lights carrying two large bunches of roses. They didn’t look fresh – probably a day old but there were so many of them – about 300 in total. The kid wasn’t begging and probably spent some time and effort collecting those flowers from the “discard heap” at a flower store so I bought the entire lot from him. The final result after purchasing the roses : above.
Rest of the images of the roses as I stored them in various containers till it was time to shoot the self-portrait.
Above : I stored all the roses in my washing machine that I filled half with water. Had to store the flowers overnight because I wanted to photograph the self portrait in natural light.
