A very goodnight from Los Angeles! After a lovely dinner with some of the most fabulous people who work at Adobe. I’m not sure whether it’s Adobe that’s lucky to have these smashing women working for it or whether they’re smashing because they work at Adobe! I finally got to meet the amazing Julie – even more amazing in person than I’d had the experience of interacting with on Twitter! And Risa! From Japan! I’m now seriously considering Japan and South Korea on my list for the next fashion weeks and collaborations with Adobe. What a fabulous group of women Adobe has working for it!
I caught up with them over dinner at WP24 that serves Asian fare at the 24th floor in the Ritz Carlton.
The food was great, the beer was great and more than anything else, the company was exceptional. I couldn’t possibly be more thrilled to be in Los Angeles for AdobeMax 2015 than I am now. There’s a photo walk with Chris Orwig planned for tomorrow and we all have our fingers crossed for “no rain please!”
What lovely views of Los Angeles from WP24 as well! If you go there, definitely try the chives dumplings with Chinese mustard and the huckleberry dessert. All the other stuff was great too but these two were something else. They also got us the Beans Tempura that Risa and Laureen had tried the last year they were here, even though it wasn’t on the menu any more – the sauce was beautiful.
Meanwhile, as I type this in my room, I can hear Lady Gaga belting out one of her songs from Hotel Figueroa across the street. The party is in full swing in Los Angeles. A K-Pop band called Big Bang performed at the Staples Centre as well. Hello Weekend!
Hey Adobe Max 2015, I’m THRILLED to be here! Can’t wait to get this party started!
