The things I saw when I visited the Rashtrapati Bhavan, New Delhi : people, architecture, flowers. The image above is my favorite. The horse-mounted guards have just positioned themselves and wait for the on-foot guard. The two people in the foreground are cleaners at-hand to clean the horse-dung before the rest of the formation walks on. The pigeons were omnipresent as New Delhi is plagued by them.
Thanks to @Leopard212 and the Major for making this possible.
Photography is not allowed inside the doors of the Rashtrapati Bhavan and I prefer not to abandon my camera so I did not visit for the indoor tour. I ambled the lawns till the rest of the party got back. I also rested in the car, with the air-conditioner turned on because summer temperatures are currently soaring in Delhi. The manhole cover is “Made in Saudi Arabia”. All images were shot on the Nikkor 14-24, f2.8 lens. I love it when I find images like the red bucket with the cannon.

awesome!
Hi Naina,
Found your pics mind-blowing. Just want to ask that which time did you shot there as I really liked the first one. Also is tripod/monopod allowed or not … ?
Thanks in anticipation.
Hi Dhruv, I wasn’t carrying a tripod but I am not sure whether it’s allowed or not. Photos were made in July 2012.
Beautyfull clicks, excellent images 🙂 Keep it up.
Thank you Gaurav!
