[ This is probably one of the most image-heavy blog posts I’ve done in a while. Deservedly so – there was so much fabulousness inside the store! ] Had the pleasure of visiting the Rohit Bal Store at Defence colony in New Delhi recently. After spending about 30 minutes driving around lost – multiple calls to Rohit’s other store at Mehrauli finally helped me find it!This is also our first #stylaned post for a store and the sixth edition in the series! Happy to start it with one of my favorite designers’ store!

If you’re coming from Noida – like I was – you don’t take the Moolchand underpass – you drive to the traffic stop light above it and take a right and follow the metro line above you. After about a kilometer or so, you will come to a gas station on your left – you turn into it and turn further left into the service lane and look for #50 or you could now identify the building using the above image!

Above: The billing desk – you can see @akanksharedhu’s and my bags on the floor beyond the chairs. In the following images, you can see the overview of the store.

Above: the changing rooms and storage areas. The photographs below have additional details from all over the store.

Ooooh! Looky looky! Louboutin shoes tucked away – maybe for clients when they want to try out clothes with heels etc?

The next few images are from the loo. Yeah, it was gorgeous too. Pay attention to the tiny little embossed footprint on the drain cover!

The following images are of racks of clothes and lovely embroidered details on the garments. Don’t forget to breathe while you’re checking them out!

Did you SEE that detailing above? #swoon

Thank you for letting us drop by and capture all the opulent fabulousness Rohit and hope to see you around sometime! I’m a fan. The store staff was very polite and friendly and the few times I’ve met Rohit in person, he’s been down to earth, a gentleman and always with humor up his sleeve. I think I have a crush! [ The last two times I had a chance to get a few portraits of Rohit was at the Chivas 18 Dinner and The Wedding Atelier that I blogged about on my wedding photography blog – you need to scroll down a little to get to his portraits. ]

Ideally, the things that can be stylaned are : a person [ aspiring model maybe ], a fashion designer’s collection, accessories, footwear, a spa / resort, architecture, jewelry, and other things associated with style. If you would like to be stylaned, email us on [email protected] and Akanksha and I will be happy to talk to you! Please note, the decision to feature something will be at our discretion.
