All the following images were shot on the Nokia Lumia 920. The images were processed on VSCO 3 for Lightroom. The image below shows you a snapshot of the setup I had for the images I made OF the Nokia Lumia 920 for the previous blog post.
Image at above left, with Flash on the phone. On the right, without flash. While low light is definitely “well lit” on the phone, it loses too much detail for my liking.
The self-portrait mode of the camera on the phone was a blast. I shot so many photos of me without having to struggle to find where the clicker button is or whether I’m looking into the lens or whether my face is even in the frame!
The quality of the image when zoomed into the max was quite “meh” but then it IS a phone camera.
It’s a fun phone to carry around – it felt closed like Apple though. Not too many apps and it feels very un-Nokia. My first mobile phone was a Nokia and the build was sturdy. I dropped it from thje 7th floor at my hostel and while all the parts came flying out – I snapped everything back together and turned it on and it worked! If I dropped the Lumia 920 from my hands to the floor I’m standing on, I shudder to think what would happen to it. Easy to scratch too.
