Got to spend time with women who are doing really well in their professions and also had a chance meeting with someone I’ve known a really long time – from the same school no less.
The @Roberto_Cavalli fragrance smelled different on almost everyone’s skin and it smelled really different when sprayed on paper. I’m thinking, next time I’m out shopping fragrances, I’m not using those paper testers to sniff from.
The notes of the fragrance were supposed to be pink peppercorn, orange blossoms and tonka beans but all I could think of was Jasmine! Strange how my nose sensed it.
After having had the fragrance on my wrist for more than a few hours now when I’m writing this blog post, what’s left on my wrist is a light powdery fragrance that smells sweet and delicate.
The lunch venue was a great choice, the food was great [ except the sushi at b:bar, which was stale – the fish was not fresh by any means ] – the Sangria was excellent and dessert was creme brulee with a chocolate cake [ sorry forgot the exact name ] but it had coconut in it.
We were then given a short walk-through at the @sephora_india store, which retails the fragrance [ the Roberto Cavalli fragrance will also be retailing at Lifestyle and Shopper’s Stop in the near future ]. If you haven’t seen it, we did a #stylaned story with Sephora India here.
And I got to take a bag of gifts with me, which has the new fragrance in it as well! How cool is that – I’m going to wear it and talk about it even more – mission accomplished!
It was a good brand initiative and I got to meet with some fresh faces and most importantly, I got to relax on a Tuesday afternoon. Loved everything about it.
