It was a day of driving from Menchukha to Yorlung and back. Rivers, mountains, clouds, accompanied us. There was hot cups and glasses of tea. We visited the Guru Nanak Taposthal on the way, we encountered strange clouds of insects and beautiful blue-colored berries. House of Tuhina’s Bagru Banajara collection is where I selected the day’s wardrobe from. For a visit to a religious place and for a comfortable day-long drive, they seemed perfect and they were. The jewellery was understated yet so pretty. House of Tuhina has combined glass-work with metal and woven it together with thread to create very beauitful and simple jewellery.
Don’t forget to wear thermals and carry a jacket for additional warmth because the evenings at Menchukha can get quite chilly.
