I’m wearing a hand-woven local jacket worn by Arunachali men. It is called a “Gaaluk” and the traditional variety was a much rougher, non-hemmed garment. There aren’t many locally-woven garments available for sale in Aalong or Menchukha even though both towns have Govt. controlled Crafts Emporiums.
