What does one do when there’s a chance for work-trip to Rambagh Palace to soak in the beautiful work of Trunks Company? One signs up of course! We reached Jaipur city by about 12 noon and by 5 pm, after a wonderfully pleasant rain shower, there I was. ( There are photographs from their store too if you scroll down this post. ) For now, here’s me, getting to do the job I LOVE so much. Posing at Rambagh Palace with Trunks Company for the very first time! Thanks Paritosh and MyPeepul – this was FABULOUSLY lovely to work on. ( My forced-photographer blogger-husband was quite please with the results AND he had fun while doing it too. A first. )

Photographs from the stunningly well-done interiors of the Trunks Company, Jaipur store. They currently have just one more additional store-space at the Sabyasachi store in New Delhi. The make-up vanity trunk was my favourite – for obvious reasons. I imagined being seated on the stool, in the middle of dunes, as the trusted people in my employ fanned me and spritzed rose water – while I indulged in staring at my pretty face just a little longer. Visions of grandeur and luxury – but of course. A girl can dream!

My parents have friends in every city I’m sure. Having served in the Indian Army for decades, they’ve amassed a strong network of friends and family across the country. Wherever we go, there’s always someone we must meet and catch up with. I like photographing them with their friends.
I’m posting this from Jodhpur this evening – we got here at about 12 noon. Two days of driving on the road has left all of us tired and reaching for the bed. But we have friends here too and will be spending the evening there. Not much happening in terms of photos specifically from Jodhpur but I have been photographing while on the road and will hopefully have some images for the #EyesForStreetStyle #OnTheRoad series! More later! Thank you checking this out!
People in Rajasthan are SO nice! Can’t believe it’s so close to NCR.
