If you’ve met me or spoken with me since yesterday, I’m pretty sure I’ve told you, maybe more than once that not one but TWO MnM’s characters – Mr. Red and Mr. Yellow visited me yesterday morning – just before the launch of the brand was officially announced in India! ( More than me, Bharat was excited when he heard I was going to be photographing the characters, taking selfies with them and that they’d be bringing along a goodie box! B’s sailing, else there would’ve been photos of him with the characters too for sure. )
I learned that each of the characters has an individual personality. Interesting ones at that. For now, I was only able to meet plain chocolate ( Mr. Red ) and chocolate coated peanut ( Mr. Yellow ) because only these two have been launched. Can’t wait to be introduced to the others. Hope that’s happening sooner rather than later.
Mr. Red and Mr. Yellow represent all that is smart and witty, innocent and simple in the world of M&M’s. Globally known for their camaraderie and friendly banter, the Red and Yellow M&M’s were in Mumbai ( and Delhi! ) to share happiness and spread joy in their unique style. They were spotted carrying some Bollywood inspired goodie boxes to a wide section of chocolate lovers ( including me! Yay! )
The launch was announced by Andrew Leakey, General Manager, India & Indian Sub-Continent, Mars Chocolate Ltd.
Now available in India in two variants – Chocolate and Peanut, M&M’s will come in two shareable sizes of a 45 gm pack and a 100 gm pack, priced at INR 80 and INR 150 respectively. ( You can get them on Amazon India too – has my affiliate link. )
Check out the photos I got of them and with them, as well as photos of the goodies and following are the social pages where you can follow the brand and keep track of any new developments!
This was super fun! Thank you M&M’s for making me a part of this, thank you for being a lovely client and welcome to India!
