Canada did not disappoint. Apart from the fact that I was scheduled to photograph a lovely couple, B and I spent our days traveling to and from Toronto whenever we got a chance. The weather did not start out well – it was raining, cold and grey but as the date of the wedding approached, it got sunnier with blue skies and on the day of the wedding, the weather was perfect. Just the way Fay wanted. This was my first wedding shoot outside India and my first Church wedding as well. Thanks to Sean and Fay for having me!
Don’t forget to click on the images for larger views and continuous slideshow.
The preparations began with the rehearsal at the church of the Merciful Redeemer Parish in Streetsville, Ontario. The entire family turned up to get their stuff right and the weather was already looking up. The church is a nicely designed post-modern style building with a couple of fantastic stained glass windows.
The back of Fay’s wedding dress and her dream shoes : Louboutins! The posse of girls was holed up in a hotel room close to the church where they were getting ready for the wedding.
The front of Fay’s wedding dress and the rings. The dress was a gorgeous piece of work that looked even more stunning on Fay.
Fay and the bridesmaids getting ready to put the wedding dress on. The layers and the train were fabulous and lush.
Detail on the wedding dress and Fay behind the veil.
The bride – Fay – in various stages of readiness. Will you look at that wonderful bouquet! At first glance I thought those were plastic roses – but those are real! Nice piece of work.
The bride putting on her jewelry and posing in the hotel lobby while more locations were being scouted.
Earlier in the day, the boutonnieres for the groom and the groomsmen and the parents. Photographed at the groom’s apartment.
The groom getting ready for the big moment.

Fay posing outdoors after putting on her jewelry. The sun was harsh but there was nice shadow under a tree.
Gorgeous dress and shoes need to be shown off again and again. Fay obliging in the hotel lobby area. The Loubis look awesome!.
The bridesmaids and the bride.
The 1952 Bentley chauffeured by Philip that had come to pick up and deliver the bride to the church from the hotel.
Fay getting into the Bentley and getting ready to be driven off. On the right, flowers in the church garden.
Fay and Sean at the Church and exchanging wedding vows.
Gorgeous flower details on the pews in the Church.
Sean and Fay listening attentively to the Pastor.
A moment of solemn attentiveness amidst the excitement. Sean and Fay have known eachother for sixteen years and the wedding was only waiting to happen!
And done! Man and wife walking down the aisle and spending some quiet time alone.
All smiles and much coziness ensues.
The married couple takes a ride in the Bentley to the venue for the shoot with the bridal party.
The couple had booked an abandoned bank vault as a venue for the bridal party shoot and it was gorgeous – there were too many photo ops and too little time! Much gorgeousness happened!
Smoking hot is all I have to say.
The bridal party posing for the camera.
More cozy gorgeousness and moving onto the reception venue, which was the Park Hyatt in downtown Toronto.
The couple indulges in the first dance and the cake was a lovely banana delicacy.
The last dance after the party had almost wound down.
There are so many more images from this lovely Canadian wedding and while the couple is honeymooning in Bora Bora, after this preview is uploaded, I will add the video slideshow in due course. Will update this blog post with more. Here’s wishing Sean and Fay a very happy married life – I doubt anything will change – especially because they already were literally married to eachother because of the 16 years of being together! Before I forget – a HUGE thanks to Jennifer Cavagna for letting me in on the photo scene! Jennifer is a wedding photographer based in Milton, Ontario, Canada and she had shot Sean and Fay’s engagement session and was also shooting the wedding.

Naina – Loved the images. Question for you – Do you use any special lights now for your pictures or you just rely on the lights in the venue?
Cheers and keep up the great work
