Tarun Tahiliani’s collection titled “Our eclectic new world” was replete with some beautiful embroidery and crystals. Mirrors cut and woven into net blouses, velvet jackets brushed with a sparkling glitter of crystals at the shoulders, beautiful gold embroidered and red hemmed lehengas. You have to see the garments in detail, up-close to truly understand the craftsmanship that must have gone into each piece. I love shiny glitter when it is easier to maintain and Tarun’s collection has some very lovely, elegant ones that fit that requirement. Do see the photographs of details at the end.
