One of the days when we didn’t have any NYFW shows to go to – yes, thankfully there was ONE such day – we decided to explore the area around Suzanne’s apartment. It was Wall Street after all and we were already awed by the tall buildings. Google Maps showed we were very close to the Brooklyn Bridge too, which we thought was fabulous. So we got out for lunch on an overcast day and walked to Nelson Blue, which had some good reviews. The food was great as it turned out but the service could have been faster. It wasn’t even crowded but it did start to rain and they had to rush patrons indoor, which is when it started getting crowded as tourists started stepping in for shelter from the rain.

It was really convenient getting the Subway as well – step out of the building of Suzanne’s apartment, cross the road and you’re in the subway station! We didn’t venture out in peak office hours but apart from that the subway was not busy at all. Convenient to get to all our NYFW venues as well.
