We met @thebrocadesutra’s Ankita Rungta – great conversations! Dinner at The Fat Radish was nice too. Most restaurants at the Lower East Side have tons and tons of craft beer you can try from and I’m trying real hard not to repeat a single beer. The Fat Radish doesn’t keep craft beer though but there’s a really nice apple cider you must try if you’re into that sort of thing. Two blocks from our #REDHUxAIRBNB apartment meant we could pop in without a reservation and walk back at night ( all the “NYC is not safe” stories are not true any more from whatever I’ve heard from people who actually live here – of course, don’t go to Central Park at night. ) Food at The Fat Radish was ok. I had the swordfish and succotash, it was well-made. You can skip desserts here – we tried the blueberry custard and the banoffee and both were just about so-so.
