That’s what I thought of when I first heard about Sudio, the Swedish headphone brand from Stockholm. As it turns out, that is where their brand name has been inspired by! Considering the excellent sound quality that these headphones deliver, it is quite a tribute to Phil Collins.
More details about the headphone at the end of the photographs. I decided to make the whole look centered on the orange pop of the headphones and a white summer dress from StalkBuyLove. I had a late afternoon event to attend and was going to be wearing this look anyway – great excuse to plan a #CoverUp shoot around events 😀
To say that I receive a LOT of email from all over the world from brands wanting me to feature their products on Naina.co would be a bit of bragging and a bit of an understatement. It is difficult to know the quality of a product before trying it and I’m always sceptical. When Sudio wrote to me, I had already been struggling with finding good quality headphones. Most are stylish to look at but they either don’t sit well in my ears or deliver sub-par sound.
I looked at Sudio’s website and liked the lifestyle branding and imagery they had used. Maybe these weren’t going to be so bad? And it is Swedish design after all I thought – no harm in giving it a shot. The boxes arrived within 3-4 days of my agreeing to do this.
Well packed, stylish orange and black and brown and gold. I immediately set to testing them out. Even for someone like me who isn’t exactly a sound aficionado, I could hear sounds I’d never heard earlier on some of my favourite tracks, when using Sudio’s KLANG headphones. Just to be sure I wasn’t hearing things, I asked the boy to test them out. I know no one else who knows sound and music like he does and reported the same!

Ear rings : Amrapali Jewels
Headphones : Sudio Sweden ( Some online stores where you can buy them from in India : HeadPhoneZone, Flipkart affiliate, Amazon and eBay. ) The only slight usage problem I’ve noticed is that while I’m on my walk, and I accidentally yank at the wire, it jack that goes into my phone is more likely to pop out because it is slightly smaller than the other headphone jacks I’ve used.
Wrist band : FitBit Charge HR
Dress : Cotton with a bit of stretch, zipper at the back ( although arm holes are slightly bigger than I’d have liked – a bit of the bra is visible from the side ) by StalkBuyLove. Very comfortable dress. The pockets could have been a little more to the side – right now if I put anything in them, including my hands, it looks like I’m going for my crotch.
Footwear : MNG ( I don’t shop Mango anymore and recommend that you don’t either. )

Makeup : Ambika Pillai Red Hot and Flame mixed lipsticks, They’re Real Mascara and Gimme Brow by Benefit Cosmetics, Foundation and Blush by CHANEL
