Taj Mahal Hotel, New Delhi hosted us ( Bharat and I ) for lunch that was prepared by two amazing Chefs from Colombia : Chef Juan Ortiz & Chef Alejandro Gutierrez. They run a popular Bogota restaurant called Salvo Patria. Also present at the lunch was Colombian Ambassador to India, Mrs. Clemencia Forero Ucros and a small team from the Colombian Embassy.
The food was lovely, the Colombian coffee even better and the best were the people! Coolest Ambassador EVER!
During the lunch-table conversations, I mentioned that one of the reasons I wanted to show up for the lunch was to be introduced to a little more of Colombia. I had no idea that embassy-folk were going to be present. When I think of Colombia ( apart from the Netflix series ), I think of color & coffee and I want to travel there and photograph everything.
One thing I learned is that if one has a Schengen Visa or a US Visa, one can travel to Colombia, from India, without getting a Colombian Visa! Makes life easier for regular travelers.
Here are some photographs from the afternoon, photographed on my Pixel 2 XL, edited in VSCO and put together in PhotoGrid and text written in Over.
