Le Meridien Hotels are well known for their experimentation with Éclairs and this evening was for the launch of a new Eclair variety concocted by Johnny Luzzini. I can still close my eyes and almost make out a tiny whiff of the wonderful Darjeeling Express eclair!
As part of unlocking Gurgaon as a destination during the course of the Le Meridien Gurgaon launch, I got to visit the stunning Heritage Transport Museum< that is run by Mr. Thakral of Le Meridien New Delhi. The museum is at Taoro / Taoru in Haryana, about a 90 minute drive from Le Meridien Gurgaon. The museum houses an eclectic collection of cars, hand carts, palanquins, boats, a train compartment and even a bi-plane.
