As part of unlocking Gurgaon as a destination during the course of the Le Meridien Gurgaon launch, I got to visit the stunning Heritage Transport Museum that is run by Mr. Thakral of Le Meridien New Delhi. The museum is at Taoro / Taoru in Haryana, about a 90 minute drive from Le Meridien Gurgaon. The museum houses an eclectic collection of cars, hand carts, palanquins, boats, a train compartment and even a bi-plane.
The above photographs are highlights of the Museum. I will be sharing more from each floor and section in upcoming features.
After the tour of the museum, lunch was served at the grassy lawn in a FlavourLabs.in food truck. The fare was South Indian with Idli sandwiches and Dosa wraps, both vegetarian and non-vegetarian.
Above, beetroot marinated mutton on idli slices. This was my favourite.
Above, posing with the camel and horse-cart before we depart for Le Meridien Delhi’s Eclairs Diary launch!
