The 1952 Bentley was used to drive around the bride and the groom in the Sean and Fay : Indian – Canadian Wedding. I haven’t shared these images earlier. I was fortunate enough to be part of the entourage allowed in the car – since I was one of the wedding photographers – and got to see the car and talk with the Chauffeur up close and personal.
The gentleman chauffeuring them around, Philip, narrated stories during our drive and was particularly enthralling with this son’s travels of India. While on the freeway, we get a lot of thumbs-ups from passing vehicles who knew the car was driving a pair of newly-weds. Toward the end of the drive, I also got to don Fay’s veil and took it off rather quickly when I realized people were congratulating me! Ah, it was a fun wedding and I want to go back and shoot some more in the lovely and crisp Canadian air. Or if you have a Bentley here in India and are getting married anytime soon 😉
