Dushyant is an Intellectual Property Rights Lawyer and practices in the city of New Delhi.
Being a lawyer means wearing all-white to court and well-tailored, well-maintained cotton shirts & trousers are the ensemble of choice. Especially in a city like Delhi that has so many months of Summer.
He believes that first impressions count and that it shouldn’t look like one is wearing someone else’s clothes. Hence things like tailoring, fittings, maintenance, ironing and folding of clothes is an art in itself.
Dushyant usually get his clothes from Zodiac, Marks & Spencers, LEE and Park Avenue and for his formal work clothes he generally visits Iqbal Tailors at Connaught Place.
( #LiveInCotton is a Tumblr photography project commissioned by the Cotton Council International and I’m one of the photographers working on the assignment. It involves photographing people in their regular, daily lives and sharing their thoughts on wearing Cotton. The photographs first show up on the LiveInCotton Tumblr blog here but I’ve also been itching to share the photographs and some extra on the Naina.co blog as well. )
