I just HAD to go out for brunch because I’d recently made my first purchase from GlobalDesi.in and I was in LOVE with the dress! It’a called the Horton Dress and it has cute little elephant motifs on it. It is made of lovely and comfortable thin denim AND IT HAS POCKETS! Of course, the main reason I was SO thrilled was that I’d ordered a size SMALL and the damn thing actually fit me! I definitely did not need another reason to celebrate, so there I was, at one of my favourite restaurants in New Delhi, Latitude 28 of Diva Restaurants on the second floor of the GoodEarth Store in Khan Market.

In my excitement to have myself photographed in this awesome dress, I completely forgot to photograph the details of the afternoon! Like the beautiful Delhi weather and the splendid rain! It had started out as a HOT summer day and transformed into a dusty whirlwind and then suddenly there was rain and the temperatures dropped and it felt like things had come back to life. When a day that I expect to be normal or average, turns into a day with stunning weather and brunch with family & friends, I feel grateful for the life I have built and the people around me have made possible.

I have eaten so many meals at Latitude 28 that I’m like a temporary fixture there. Client meetings, brunch with friends and sometimes just to grab a Corona by myself. Khan Market is a lovely location. Even the parking attendants recognize me well now. I love going there. Also it isn’t too far from my Noida home, hence accessible. I can’t imagine going too far from home for a meeting and Khan is the ideal spot.
