Turquoise and silver ear rings by Vijayshree Sovani Designs. I met Vijashree for the first time at the Dastkar Delhi exhibition and was instantly taken in by the beautiful flower motifs her artisans create with silver and impeccable enamelling. There aren’t many jewellery artists in India who do fine work with enamelling – Vijayshree is one of them. I have a soft spot for turquoise combined with silver and this designs from one of Vijayshree’s previous collections caught my eye even more so. Vijayshree Sovani Designs is best contacted via their Facebook page.
Jute and cotton dress by HarYarnV. Same as Vijayshree, I met Kanishk Bhardwaj in person for the first time as the same Dastkar exhibition. His products caught my eye because of the variety of materials his artisans work with. HarYarnV also produces home linen and I was tickled by their brand name! The dress I’m wearing in the photographs above comes with a jacket in jute as well and I love the summer feel of the ensemble. You can also pair the jacket separately with a short-sleeved, collared white shirt and blue jeans! And you can wear the dress separately like I did to the launch of Nicobar recently. Cotton and PU bag by Berserk India. It is a roomy bag with a zip and I’m currently using it to carry a spare set of clothes in my car when I’m traveling within NCR for an event and need to change after. Keep a look out! )
Leather slip on shoes by GUSH Accessories. Manav sent me these shoes after I emailed him a pitch about a possible blog collaboration. While I’m usually not keen to receive free products from brands ( this subject needs another blog post, which I am planning to write sometime soon ), I accepted the offer because I thought I’ll at least mention the brand on social media and when Manav saw the effect that had, he might just sign up with me for a collaboration. What has ended up happening instead is that I LOVE these shoes and wear them everywhere and have mentioned them more than a few times on my social media. I love the shoes so much that I decided to include them in this feature as well! Thanks Manav! GUSH is clearly doing some great work! GUSH : Facebook | Twitter | Instagram
