The poster on the tree above made me miss @akanksharedhu
Today was my third day in Bangalore and I met a few people. @2shar was driving to Koramangala and was great company at breakfast. We ate the Kheema Ghotala at Mocha and yakked away to glory. Great fun. The evening was spent with @garima07 who runs PoshVine.com at Toit, 100 Feet Road. The Sangria was ok, the pork chops were just about passable, the mashed potatoes were nice but the “MJ Was A Fruit Cake” was the awesomest. I ate two slices. the reference to Michael Jackson was a tad rude in my opinion though.
The evening was marred by the no-show by the Meru Cab even though they had given me a confirmation number and the driver details. Normally the driver calls 20 minutes prior to the assigned pick-up time but when I didn’t receive that call, I called him up to be told, “Madam, I will come.” When I told him that the cab was booked for 2215hrs, I was told, “I will come. At 2245.” There was no cab till 2300, after which my hosts – who I had met for the first time – were kind enough to drop me to Koramangala. I’ve never had such a bad experience with Meru cabs earlier. Bangalore Day 02 was here and Day 01 at Bangalore was here.
