In this feature, I am sharing images of the beautiful wedding trousseau donned by Jeevan, the bride and the beautiful traditional family jewellery that she wore over two days.
The gold, maroon and ivory lehenga was created by designer Sahil Kochhar who has worked with Rohit Bal prior to launching his own label. The lehenga was custom made just how Jeevan wanted it and the details were elegant and beautiful – unlike the usual bling we see at Indian weddings. Loved it thoroughly and enjoyed making images of it too.
Jeevan wore Steve Madden’s “Madden Girl” heels and another custom-made Sahil Kochhar ensemble for her mehendi.
Definitely do not miss the beautifully enameled peacock on the chooda on Jeevan’s arms in the image above.
A glimpse of the lehenga from the outside above and from the inside below.
The chunni / veil above was part of the garaara ensemble that Jeevan was wearing for the Nikaah ceremony. The Sahil Kochhar lehenga was for the Gurudwaara wedding.
