If there’s anything I love more than cohesive branding, it is a repeat client who is known for their cohesive branding. From ColourNext 2017 to ColourNext 2018, Asian Paints seems to be upping their game each year.
I was back at India Design ID 2018, in collaboration with Asian Paints and the main event on the agenda was the launch of the Colour Of The Year for 2018. A lovely yellow was revealed – branded as Passionflower. It’s a nice leaning-toward-Ochre yellow. Event took place on the 22nd of February – I’m a tad late in posting this.
It was also a fun party. Surrounded by beautifully organized inspiration boards and themes – colour trends and forecasts galore. My favourite was the one directly below, at the end of this text. Called, Alchemy of Memories, I’m a sucker for nostalgia and romance.
Many thanks to Aarthi at RippleLinks for managing everything as beautifully as last year. It was my pleasure to be invited for the launch and for the Instagram collaboration.
Lots of photographs, scroll away and enjoy the riot of colours. Thank you for the psychedelic trip Asian Paints!

Wardrobe credits :
I’m wearing shirt, trousers and shoes by H&M #HMIndia. Scarf is Kilian Kerner. Dragonfly Brooch is Tarun Tahiliani.
I also managed to walk around a bit to admire these works of art in glass and crystal. Met a bunch of really cool individuals and had a great evening – enjoyed it more than I’d anticipated.
