Just got back from a month long trip to Europe. Five countries and lots of cities. Lots of photo opportunities taken and missed. Lots of rain and sunshine and walking and train journeys and bus & tram rides. Food & wines and a couple of fines. This was the first panorama I shot on the trip. On the banks of the river Wien in Vienna, Austria. I don’t know what building this is. Vienna was the first city I visited and by far, Austria was the best country that I toured through in the entire month.
I wanted to re-start blogging with “something” to show and this was the best I could think of from the beginning. It represent Europe for me for now. Superficially. Lots of graffiti, rivers, lakes and waterways, cobbles, bricks, bridges and boat rides and glass and steel structures. Of course there’s a whole other Europe to be explored – old architecture, museums, people, food and whatnot. Juxtapositions galore. The old [ black and white ] coupled with the new [ color ]. Probably cliched but the world revolves around cliches. Coming up as I sift through the treasure trove of close to 20,000 images.
