Walked around a bit. Huffed and puffed up steep streets. Sat on the upper deck of an open-top bus and froze my butt off. A co-passenger on the bus, a complete stranger, also remarked that I must definitely be out of town because of the beanie hat I was wearing. I told them I was from India and the cold winds on the bus were definitely being blown by the devil. I was joking but I have feeling they have might have thought me as odd. Local San Francisco residents are used to homeless people with odd behaviors so I reckon I fit right in.
If you’re not in the shade of the buildings, the Sun can be be lovely and it’s t-shirt and shorts weather. But if you are in the shade and it’s windy – like it was on the Golden Gate Bridge – then you’re going to freeze your tits off. Especially if you are used to living in warmer cities / countries like India.
I really enjoyed photographing the varied and colorful architecture that I saw on my bus ride in the city. I was there only for a very short while. More details of why I was in San Francisco.
