I seem to be going back to my staple of t-shirt and jeans although I do think more about it now while getting dressed than I ever have in my entire life. One of the effects of working in the lifestyle industry I suppose. Whether I use it as an advantage or disadvantage is up to me. I choose to look at it as a way of celebrating life. Relaxing. Being happy with what I have and challenging and competing with my own self. Who knew I would be spending so much time thinking and writing about clothes! I’m still clueless about fashion but I am steadily finding my own personal style. This is what I wore to a casual brunch over Mother’s Day.
T-Shirt : Design By Humans
Jeggings : Vero Moda
Shoes : Skechers Go Walk 3
These shoes are fantastic! The best shoes I’ve ever worn. My fitness regimen involves a lot of walking and I walk about ten kilometres each day – well almost each day. And these are the only shoes that have not given me a shoe bite or scrunched my toes or scrunched my heels. At first when I wore them it felt like I had bouncy mattresses below my feet. There is almost no ankle support on these shoes so I would not recommend them if you’re planning to run or jog but if you’re looking for walking shoes, look no further. I am usually a European size 39 but in these shoes I fit well into an EU size 38. The only Skechers store I know of is at The Great India Place Mall in Noida. Other multi-brand sports stores also tend to stock Skechers. Else you can always order from Jabong for quick delivery and from Amazon if you are willing to wait a couple of weeks.
Hat : Hermes
Sunglasses : Vogue Eyewear from the Luxottica Press Day
Lipstick : Ambika Pillai Red Hot ( By far one of my most favourite lispticks. I tend to mix it with a Tom Ford Red to make it slightly glossier or if I’m planning to keep it completely matte but slightly brighter, then I mix in Ambika Pillai’s Flame, which is a stunning orange.
