Previously at the launch event for the signature Roberto Cavalli fragrance, they gave me a 50ml bottle and it created further intrigue about the fragrance world for me. I’ve since bought a book and loved reading it. I seem to be using my nose more.
Some photographs I made of the Cavalli fragrance bottle and packaging.
The dash of blue on the outer packaging is amplified by supporting blue cardboard cushioning on the inside. I love this shade of blue – and it goes so well with the gold. I have a painting I’ve done in similar colors.
The Tiger print sticker on the neck is already peeling off sadly. Takes away from the “luxury” positioning of the brand but then Cavalli isn’t really known for fragrances.
I enjoy it when daily objects create a sense of wonder and intrigue and push me down the path of discovery, heightened senses and beautiful writing.
A picture of the painting in gold and blue.
It’s a wasp’s nest. Read more from a previous blog post. The artwork, however, sadly, has no fragrance.
