We had a meeting with a jewellery brand today – and we double checked before we went because it was Labour Day. Once we reached the meeting location, the kind doorman informed us that except three offices, all other offices in the building were closed. We had a landline number and there was no response on that. Luckily, we’d thought about this scenario and walked to Bryant Park, which was a few blocks away. Everything in New York is a few blocks away! I love walking here – I could’ve chosen to wear socks with my leather business shoes today though. I blame the no-show person at the jewellery brand.
On our way to Bryant Park, we also walked through Times Square – it wasn’t as crowded as we’d expected because of the holiday. We took some selfies on our phones and marvelled at the tall buildings – nothing fit in the frames of our cameras!
Lunch was at the Bryant Park Grill. Draft beer and pork tenderloin and the most amazing dessert in NYC so far.
